Pontiac Lake Recreation Area

Pontiac Lake Recreation Area, with over 3,800 acres of rolling woodland terrain, is open year round for a variety of activities. The area's habitat, a mixture of marshes, ponds, heavy forests, old farm fields, river bottom and lakes support a wide variety of animals and excellent hunting. Designated trails meandering throughout the recreation area are available for horseback riding, hiking and mountain biking.  Equestrians can enjoy miles of rolling woodland and meadow trails.  The staging area offers day and overnight camping, a hand pump and vault toilets.  A riding stable, separate biking & hiking trails, modern camp sites, and much more are available to enjoy.  Please visit this beautiful park with your equine friends!
