    PLHA'S, 7Th Annual Barn Dance    

THE 7TH ANNUAL BARN DANCE WAS A LOT OF FUN AND A SUCCESS TO BOOT!

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED THIS ENJOYABLE EVENT.

ALSO, A SPECIAL NOTE OF APPRECIATION TO THOSE WHO BROUGHT A DISH TO PASS.

WE HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE

AGAIN NEXT YEAR

 FOR A DO-SI-DO GOOD TIME!!!!!!!!!

Good Gosh the weather started rather frightening!

 Our May weekend event was looking rather unexciting with the threat of rain and lighting.

We were not sure our campers would even arrive when the radio announced the possibility of heavy hail and rain that would not subside! But alas the truth was it did pour on Friday night but only for a bit

and not enough to keep most campers at home! The sun did shine for the rest of the time and the weekend was just fine…in fact it was GREAT!

The bugs not so bad, the rain stayed away and the PLHA annual weekend with the poker ride and Saturday night entertainment with Cass Connelly and friends playing music till who knows when, appears to be another great success! With lots of prizes and food seems like everybody was in a wonderful mood.

So we say to our friends who joined us that weekend

 THANKS for your support of the PLHA and we will see you in September to do it again!

It may have felt like monsoon season,

But the torrential rain didn’t slow the support

Of our dedicated PLHA members.

Despite the weather,

 more than 20 campers stayed overnight.

 ThePIG ROAST was

a big success, with over 60 people in attendance.

THE BAND PLAYED ON,

 THE COOK COOKED

 AND THE POKER RIDE CONTINUED.

OK SO THE       WENT OUT

BUT THE LIGHTS WENT ON!
